We talked to Canon about this last week, it’s a fantastic sounding camera. 1080p video is going to push against the Nikon D3S.

I am wondering why a photographer would want/need video or live view in an slr, especially one that is pro-grade? I am one of many who are not interested in the upgrade; paying a ton for something I’ll never use. I own a video recorder and don’t use it much as it is. I love the specs and results of the 5d MKII, but I’ll stick with the 5d for now. Call me old fashioned, but I’ll stick with making still images from a still camera!
