Show in Project Is a Lifesaver in Aperture 3

One of the great strengths of Aperture is its ability to use the same image in countless Albums, Folders, Smart Albums, Books and more without duplicating the original file. Aperture just puts a reference in an Album or Book or what have you that points back at the original photo.

This flexibility can easily lead to situations where a photographer has grouped together numerous images from a variety of Projects, which can lead to confusion when a photographer looks at an image and doesn’t remember where the photo actually lives. That’s where Show in Project comes in handy.

When you select Show in Project Aperture will jump to the original Project and show you the selected image or video. This eliminates hunting around for the image based on its file name or other metadata.
