Using Aperture 3.0.1 if you have 3.0 Trial

February 24, 2010 in News by David Schloss 1 comment

The Aperture 3.0.1 update that was just released by Apple will not update the already-downlaoded 3.0 trial version, however you can use 3.0.1 by re-downloading the trial and installing that. That acts as a full-updater and will replace the 3.0 trial on your machine. The clock will continue counting on your 30 day trial and you’ll be able to keep working with the trial version.

You can download the Trial from apple.com/aperture

Aperture 3.0.1 updated my trial version of Aperture 3.0 with no problems. Perhaps it will not work if you have renamed or moved Aperture 3.0 from the default Applications folder.
